Biagi Bros. Racing went through major restructuring in the off season. The team hired veteran crew chief Mark Tutor, moved into a state-of-the-art race shop, switched manufacturers from Ford to Dodge, and signed an engine deal with Ernie Elliott. Since first competing in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2001, Biagi Bros. Racing has made great strides in its attempt to capture the coveted NASCAR Busch Series title. With engineering support from Chip Ganassi Racing, and sponsorship from GEICO and PetBrands; the championship title is well within reach. In 2005, the competition level in the Busch Series will be tough with seasoned veterans and rookie contenders battling week in and week out. But it’s that competition that drives Biagi. “I really enjoy the competitiveness of racing,” says Biagi, who operates a family-owned trucking and warehouse operation based in Napa, California. “We want to win races,” explained Biagi. “We can’t wait to get another win for GEICO and all of our sponsors.” The Biagi Bros. team scored a win for GEICO last year in the Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona. |
